This utility is provided to accept high speed data (item/count) from a device that imports data and acts just like a keyboard entry (e.g. a barcode scanner), or from a file that has been created containing the stocktake count. You can also use it for manual data entry where you want to quickly key in the item then the quantity.
You must have already created a stocktake batch in Micronet containing all the items in the stocktake.

Technical Tip To access this option, the registration code for Simple Hand Held must be turned on in your company configuration (for more information, refer to "Edit Company - Registration"). 2.8 Feature If this option is disabled even though you have access to the Simple Hand Held functions, refer instead to "Stocktake Batch - Edit - Upload Line Records (v2.8)". |
|
Technical Tip This program does not verify the item number during the entry process. Entries where the item number does not match a Micronet item number are printed on the last page of your stocktake report with the descriptions blank. |
To load data from a hand held device into a stocktake batch:
Refer to "Creating a New Stocktake Batch" or "Recalling a Stocktake Batch".
Micronet displays the Load from Hand Held screen.
